First-Year 90% Silver Kennedy Half Dollars

Introduced in 1964, the Kennedy Half Dollar was created to honor President John F. Kennedy and quickly became an important part of modern U.S. coinage. Every Mystery Pack includes both the 1964 Philadelphia and Denver issues, giving you a two-coin representation of the first year of the series.

These 1964 issues are especially notable because they were the only regular Kennedy Half Dollars struck for circulation in the traditional 90% silver composition. Both coins in this Mystery Pack are offered in BU condition and individually housed in 2x2 staple-up holders, combining classic U.S. silver with a significant piece of 20th-century American coinage.

Five Top Chase Opportunities

Five packs add an extra item to the guaranteed P & D Kennedy Half Dollar set. One may reveal an 1894-O Barber Dime in G-VG condition, while another includes a 1943-P Steel Cent with an Off-Center Mint Error. A third adds a precious metal surprise with a 1945 Mexico 2.5 Peso Gold Coin in BU condition.

Two packs feature redemption cards alongside the Kennedy Half Dollar set. One redemption card is for an 1884-CC Morgan Silver Dollar in a GSA holder, while another is for an impressive 1892-1916 Barber Dime Complete Set. No matter which pack you receive, the 1964-P and 1964-D 90% Silver Kennedy Half Dollars remain the foundation of the experience.

Sealed SilverTowne Mystery Pack Experience

Every set is sealed inside SilverTowne's distinctive black, yellow and white Mystery Pack packaging. With the contents concealed until opening, each pack combines the certainty of receiving two first-year silver Kennedy Half Dollars with the anticipation of potentially uncovering one of the five Top Chase Items.

With only 50 total Mystery Packs in this release, #058276 offers a fun way to add a pair of BU 1964 Kennedy Half Dollars to your holdings while leaving room for an additional vintage coin, mint error, gold coin or special redemption item.
